Hi Christie, so glad to see you in one of the pictures! It's great that you have made a connection from the U.S. It's amazing how the Lord provides just what we need, just when we need it. Keepin you in my prayers, Nicole.

Christie, getting out of the house to have an adventure and meet a friend is a wonderful thing to do when feeling depressed. Remember to give yourself time (and grace!) as you all adjust.
I enjoyed all the pictures. Your family is beautiful.

Hi Christie,

Read your comments this morning. I am thankful the Lord is looking out for you all and particularly sent what you needed at just the right time. The pictures are wonderful and I am envious of your wonderful adventure! I will keep you in my prayers and Abby thanks you for her birthday wishes. She says she will miss you teaching her Spanish this year! :(
Hugs all around, Leslie

Thank you for all of the encouraging comments and prayers--it has been a good weekend, and for that and for all of you I am deeply grateful. Leslie, please tell Abby that I will miss her as well and hope to hear how she is doing from time to time.

Did you make it inside of St. Paul's cathedral? Mike and I love to visit old churches in different cities...the architecture is gorgeous. Speaking of architecture, tell Cameron that Zachary just finished his Lego kit of Frank Lloyd Wrights - Falling Water. It was a great accomplishment; I think this is the first Lego he's ever talked about keeping forever. Can you get Lego's in Australia?
Keep on posting; we love the updates on the family and the educational stories. You should capture this (blog and pics) in book form (like what Creative Memories offers online) for your kids keepsakes...

Hi Monique---Thanks for your comments. We visited St. Paul's when we came in February. We attended evensong then, and Ross continued to go there Sunday mornings while he lived here by himself. It is beautiful. You can get Legos in Australia, for about twice the price. Cameron was eying a set in Target this morning but ultimately concluded it was too expensive. Ross had a few sets waiting for him when we arrived, so that has kept him busy. Congrats to Zach on completing Falling Water---very impressive.
