Very interesting, Christie. Those tiny penguins are adorable, their name is fitting, and I laughed when I read that the children noticed your friend took as many pictures as you do. :) That is one awesome camera she has.

Great photos! Thank you for sharing. I haven't been out to see the penguins at St. Kilda. It's on my to-d- list.


I don't know if you have been to see the penguin parade at Phillip Island, but this is a very different experience. It's much more informal, the numbers are just a handful in comparison, but I think I prefer it. I wouldn't recommend going in winter---either go before then or wait until late spring.
