What a great post! Oh, they do grow so fast, Christie! I've been feeling sad in my heart because of Jacob and Sarah. Jacob is graduating and Sarah is registered into Kindergarten.
Love all the pictures and that your children are all baking...the cookie bar pic, is that like one giant cookie? Spread thinner than a typical brownie type of cookie bar?
I've been wanting to take a picture of my hummingbirds, too. I hung up the feeder last week and within 10 minutes a hummer came.
Grace found out that next year's play is Mary Poppins at our school :)

Very exciting about Mary Poppins! It's a fun show.

Here's the cookie bar recipe (according to what I found scribbled on an index card near the phone):
3/4 cup butter melted
2 eggs
2 1/4 c brown sugar
2 2/3 c flour
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp salt
1 cup choc chips.
Mix wet and dry ingredients separately, then combine together with choc chips and spread in a 12 x 15 inch pan. Bake 20 min @ 350 degrees F.
--and yes, it's like one giant cookie spread thinner than brownies.

We had the same experience with our hummingbird feeder. J wanted to put it up in March (when there was snow on the ground). We convinced him to wait until May.

LOvely pics again Christie ,& how the family is growing up so quickly.
Have copied the recipe for Zoe -- now our official baker!

Thank you for the recipe!
