I am checking in between loads of laundry to say hello and post a few pictures from the past two months. At the end of my last post I hinted at reunions to come, and even as I type our Australian friends wait in the Denver airport to board their flight to Pittsburgh. We learned from them two years ago how to celebrate Christmas at the beach. This year, we will be the ones hosting, and we will do our best to show them a proper northern hemisphere holiday, with or without snow.
In the meantime, as I wait for the minutes to tick away until it is time to head to the airport, here is a little bit of what we have been up to since the end of October.
Trick or Treating with the Neighbors:
Celebrating my 45th Birthday:
Our first Thanksgiving dinner on American soil in many years -- maybe six?
First official college visit for our oldest--her dad took her to tour the University of Toronto.
Another milestone: our four kids received their Canadian citizenship papers in December:
First middle school dance for our middle daughter:
First heavy frost of the season:
Early celebration with my family in Ohio:
Wishing you all a very happy Christmas.
